Anybody can be one but provided he has a a proven plan and follows it through. It's not going to be easy, in fact there's a lot of effort as most people give it up easily. I think the skill set one earns as a journalist is incredibly valuable for Internet marketers, not only because the ability to write is sorely needed on the Web, but because it teaches you to think critically, to take nothing at face value and basic research skills. And don't even get me started about the lack of ethics on the Web.
